D-LINK® WI-FI DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME NOW AVAILABLE WITH PHOTOBUCKET
Free Account for Storing, Sharing and Uploading Thousands of Photos
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., January 8, 2009 — D-Link today announced that its Wi-Fi digital photo frame that lets users quickly and effortlessly display and share photos, as well as popular Internet content, is now compatible with Photobucket (http://photobucket.com), the Web's premier standalone photo and video-sharing site.
The D-Link® 10" Wireless Internet Photo Frame (DSM-210) combines the benefits of a digital photo frame with the convenience of the Internet, letting users easily manage digital photos stored on their computer or a photo sharing website such as Photobucket. The D-Link frame also enables streaming of Internet content directly to the frame such as news, weather, sports, trivia, and Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds without the need to connect with a PC.
"D-Link and Photobucket have a common goal, and that is to help customers easily display and share family, vacation and holiday photos from the Web," said Daniel Kelley, senior director of marketing for D-Link Systems, Inc. "It was also important that we provide our customers the added benefit of accessing content that interests them from the frame such as the latest news, weather and sports scores without the need to turn on the PC."
"Photobucket is thrilled that its service is compatible with the D-Link Wi-Fi Internet Photo Frame," said Alice Lankester, vice president of marketing, Photobucket. "Photobucket was built on the philosophy that photo sharing should be fun and easy. This compatibility with the D-Link Wireless Internet Photo Frame strengthens those values and gives our users another great way to share their memories."
New users can sign up for a free Photobucket account at http://photobucket.com to upload and share photos, create group albums, design scrapbooks, build slideshows and more. Users can then manage their D-Link Internet Photo Frame, including adding their Photobucket account, at internetphotoframe.com.

Nice informative blog.full of knowledge & useful:-Didier Grossemy
I do really like the wifi digital photo, and the stuff photobucket seems like a great breaking on the stiff cut-throat wifi frame feild.
however, I have to inquiry about the speed when I really need to read the news or RSS by it, the speed is fast or liked you using your intel CPU 486 computer.
the other question is whether the connection beteen router and WIFI frame is stable, as I get a generation 1 from D-Link wifi frame. My frame can not reach the router oftenly.it is a really headache trouble. but the other wifi frame I get from www.udiggit.com called eStarling's connection is much more better. however the function compared both is the same.
To sum up, I like the brilliant idea (photobucket) from D-Link, if the stability is improved, I will seriously consider to purchase my third WIFI frame in near future.
